Day 1 - Travel to Vancouver

Your journey begins with a luxury transfer to the airport and on arrival in Vancouver a private car will take you to The Fairmont Pacific Rim. Enjoy the exclusive lifestyle hotel floor where the Fairmont Gold team will greet you for a seamless check-in followed by cocktails and canapes in the lounge.

Day 2 - Private Float Plane to Clayoquot Sound

For the first morning of your journey, The True North Collection will connect you with a hand-picked local photographer from our partners at Flytographer. This personalised photo shoot will capture some amazing memories in our beautiful city. Choose from one of the expertly curated routes for your session. Locations include atmospheric Gastown, Kitsilano Beach or amongst the living giants of Stanley Park.

This afternoon you will be escorted to the Harbour Air flight centre just metres from your hotel to enjoy a champagne reception as you check in for your private float plane to your home for the next four nights – Clayoquot Wilderness Resort.

Day 3 - 5 – Clayoquot Sound Wilderness Resort

As one of the ultimate, luxury adventure resorts in Canada, Clayoquot Wilderness Resort is located at the very centre of the UNESCO-designated Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve, a 600-acre adventure playground. Curate your own experience as you choose from an abundance of activities such as guided whales and bears tours, canoe or kayak trips, horseback expeditions, freshwater and ocean fishing, or relaxing with a massage at the spa.
A full-day Ultimate Heli-Adventure is included and can be completely personalised to suit your interests and adventure-levels. The True North Collection has also arranged an exclusive chef’s table dining experience. This 7-course tasting menu and wine pairings will be created specifically for you in collaboration with the resort’s Head Chef using locally sourced ingredients.

Day 6 – Return to Vancouver

Enjoy your last day in the ancient rainforest with one last adventure of your choice. Late this afternoon you will return by private float plane to Vancouver for your final night at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Relax and enjoy the Fairmont Gold Floor amenities. This evening, be sure to venture out in the city and try out one of Vancouver’s top restaurants. Our concierge team will be happy to provide you with some great suggestions and make you a reservation.

Day 7 – Depart Vancouver

After breakfast in the Gold Floor lounge, we recommend you spend a leisurely morning strolling along the Vancouver harbourfront, just steps from your hotel. After check-out, you’ll be taken by private car to the Vancouver airport, in time for your flight home. We will arrange for you to be driven home in comfort.

Clayoquot Wilderness Resort hosts 25 white canvas tents.
