Day 1 - Travel to Whitehorse
Your journey begins with a luxury transfer to Vancouver airport and a spectacular flight to Whitehorse, the heart of Canada’s northern Yukon Territory.

In Whitehorse, you will be escorted from the airport to an intimate lakeside lodge. Meet your hosts and enjoy your first Yukon dining experience packed with fresh local ingredients and northern flavours.

Built in northern log-cabin style, your lodge is situated on spectacular Marsh Lake, surrounded by the Yukon Range mountains and the towering spruce of the Boreal forest. This is the perfect place for a quiet escape and days of winter adventure.

Each evening, through the windows of the inn or from the frozen lake, watch for the dancing Aurora Borealis to appear. Positioned in the ‘Auroral Oval’, Yukon Territory is considered one of the world’s best places to see the lights and viewing from the lake provides unobstructed views of the night sky.

Accommodation options at the Inn feature spacious suites, cozy cabin rooms, or a private cottage. For guests who choose a fully private experience, The True North Collection can arrange for an exclusive lodge rental for your party.

Day 2 - Private Dog Sledding Experience
Wake up to the quiet of a snowy Yukon morning before breakfast under the enormous timbers of the dining room. Gear up for the cold and head out on your first experience – mushing your own dog sled.

An expert guide will introduce you to your enthusiastic huskies and provide detailed instructions for driving your team. Soon enough you’ll be testing your skills on the snowy trails of a boreal forest. Enjoy a hot drink and snacks along the trail, before making your way back to warm up in the hot tub or sauna.

Day 3 – Snowmobiling and Icefishing
Departing from the Inn, travel across the vast lake by snowmobile and along the way, try your hand at ice fishing. After a campfire lunch, drill deep into the ice and drop a line, waiting patiently for an Arctic Grayling or Northern Pike to bite. Try your hand at ice hockey on the lake before snowmobiling back to the Inn as the sun sets.

As part of your True North Collection experience, we’ve arranged for a personalized photoshoot with a hand-picked local photographer to capture memories of your incredible northern adventure.

This evening after dinner, warm up with a well earned glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres by the fire, waiting in anticipation of another spectacular night of northern lights.

Day 4 – Private Ski Plane Tour
Listen for the roar of an engine this morning your private ski plane touches down on the frozen lake in front of the Inn. Board your plane, then soar across the Southern Lakes region over snow-covered glaciers and mountain ranges, and tiny historic mining towns. Keep an eye out for moose, caribou, and resident wolf packs out in the winter landscape.

This evening marks your final chance to encounter the Aurora Borealis. Take some final photos or simply sip a hot drink while you enjoy the display.
