St. John’s sits on the rugged Newfoundland coastline, teeming with four centuries of history, tradition and culture. Just steps from your hotel you can explore the narrow, criss-crossing streets lined with the vibrant Jellybean Row’ houses that appear effortlessly packed together.

Once the epitome of isolation, St. John’s has transformed into one of the most innovative culinary destinations in North America featuring unique locally inspired fare that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We’ll make sure you’ve got a reservation at the best table every night.

Day 2 – Explore Avalon with a Private Guide
We’ve arranged for one of St. John’s most experienced guides to pick you up for a full day of exploration in a private SUV. You’ll make your way up nearby Signal Hill through ‘The Battery’, where colourful wooden homes, crying out to be photographed, cling valiantly to cliff-sides. From the hill’s Cabot Tower you can look out over the cliffs and harbour for a view that goes on for an eternity. This afternoon is yours to explore the bays, beaches, and coves of Newfoundland’s “outport” communities. Hike along Middle Cove Beach to Torbay Point, part of Newfoundland’s East Coast Trail, to experience the grandeur and ruggedness of Newfoundland’s dramatic clifftops.

This innovative community project ensures 100% of profits are reinvested back into the local economy. You’ll be welcomed with a dinner this evening in the vaulted-ceiling dining room, where floor to ceiling windows offer uninterrupted vistas of sunsets, storms, and lazy icebergs floating by.
