Gear up for your first day of winter activities! This exclusive True North experience includes a private guided tour of Maligne Canyon and it’s magnificent ice waterfalls and ice formations. You will be outfitted with special ice cleats to navigate the canyon floor. After an active morning, warm up and enjoy a lunch seasoned with adventure at the Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen.

Your guide will escort you to one of the National Park’s most picturesque lakes where you can try your hand at some of Canada’s famous winter sports including skating, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. No true Canadian experience would be complete without s’mores around the campfire.

Day 3 - Mush Away
This remote location deep in the Rockies is the perfect setting for an experience as rewarding as it is iconically Canadian. On our dog sledding adventure you’ll be guided through the techniques and when you are ready, mush your own team of Alaskan huskies. If you prefer a more leisurely approach to snow travel, sit back and let your sled pull you along the trails as you admire the beautiful forest that surrounds you.

Dinner at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is always exceptional and you can choose from a range of restaurants including Italian at the Orzo Trattoria or local Elk & Ale Pot Pie in the Great Hall.

A private helicopter will meet you in the Cline valley to take you up and over the Canadian Rocky Mountains to a high alpine meadow where you’ll be making fresh tracks in your snowshoes. Explore for as long as you choose to, fortified by an Irish coffee or hot chocolate. After touch down back at the heli-pad and a warming lunch, continue on to Abraham Lake, famous for a natural phenomenon in which trapped methane causes bubbles to freeze beneath the ice on the lake’s surface.

This evening a private dining experience specially prepared by the head chef’s team will be set up in your cabin.
