Embark on an exclusive journey into the wilderness at Nimmo Bay Resort. Nimmo Bay’s intimate cabins float in a secluded inlet of the Great Bear Rainforest, surrounded by some of BC’s most pristine backcountry. Arrive on your private float plane then head out with your guide to explore the rainforest. An extensive variety of activities are included in your stay, ranging from bear watching to paddle boarding to just relaxing in the floating sauna! At the end of each day you'll be rewarded with fine cuisine made with the freshest local ingredients and enjoy a blazing campfire with family and friends.

Day 1 - Travel to Vancouver
Your journey begins with a luxury transfer to the airport and on arrival in Vancouver a private car will take you to The Fairmont Pacific Rim. Enjoy the exclusive lifestyle hotel floor where the Fairmont Gold team will greet you for a seamless check-in followed by cocktails and canapes in the lounge.

Day 2 - Private Float Plane to Nimmo Bay
For the first morning of your journey The True North Collection will connect you with a hand-picked local photographer from our partners at Flytographer. This personalised photo shoot will capture some amazing memories in our beautiful city. Choose from one of the expertly curated routes for your session. Locations include atmospheric Gastown, Kitsilano Beach or amongst the living giants of Stanley Park.
This afternoon you will be escorted to the Harbour Air flight centre just metres from your hotel to enjoy a champagne reception as you check in for your spectacular private float plane to Nimmo Bay.
Touch down in Nimmo Bay, a 5-star wilderness refuge nestled in 50,000 square miles of coastal and mountain wilderness. You’ll be welcomed by your hosts and make activity plans for the next few days. After a delicious dinner gather around the fire with a sky of blazing stars overhead.

Days 3 – 5 – Personalised Adventures At Nimmo Bay
Spend the next three days exploring the wilderness and observing the resident wildlife surrounding Nimmo Bay. You might choose from paddle boarding alongside dolphins and other marine life, observing black bears from a kayak, or hiking up the Big Nimmo Trail to explore the shorelines, rainforest trails, waterfalls and rivers.
Included in this experience is an exclusive full day, Coastal Wildlife Safari arranged just for you. This tour takes you further afield, to explore the magnificent ocean wilderness of coastal British Columbia by boat and can be tailored specifically to your interests. You may wish to explore the Broughton Archipelago on the look-out for whales or go fishing for wild Pacific salmon. You could choose to include a visit to a marine research station, explore a secluded coastal beach, or pick a sheltered bay to go kayaking. For lunch you’ll be taken to a scenic location where you can admire the view and enjoy a gourmet picnic along with a beer or two.
Each evening, warm up in the cedar-sided hot tubs or at the floating sauna, enjoy gourmet meals and drift off to the soundtrack of the great outdoors.

Savour the remote scenery and tranquility of Nimmo Bay, as you head out for a final day of guided activities. Enjoy a delicious lunch with your hosts before you depart the lodge in the late afternoon.
Board your chartered float plane in Nimmo Bay and take another opportunity to see British Columbia’s spectacular coastal scenery from the air. On arrival in Vancouver, a driver will be waiting to assist you with your luggage and take you to the Fairmont Pacific Rim Gold Floor.

Day 7 – Depart from Vancouver
After breakfast in the Gold Floor lounge, we recommend you spend a leisurely morning strolling along the Vancouver harbourfront, just steps from your hotel. After check-out, you’ll be taken by private car to the Vancouver airport, in time for your flight home. We will arrange for you to be driven home in comfort.
