Day 1 - Travel to Vancouver
Your journey begins with a luxury transfer to the airport and on arrival in Vancouver a private car will take you to The Fairmont Pacific Rim. Enjoy the exclusive lifestyle hotel floor where the Fairmont Gold team will greet you for a seamless check-in followed by cocktails and canapes in the lounge.

Day 2 - Private Float Plane to Tofino
For the first morning of your journey The True North Collection will connect you with a hand-picked local photographer from our partners at Flytographer. This personalised photo shoot will capture some amazing memories in our beautiful city. Choose from one of the expertly curated routes for your session. Locations include atmospheric Gastown, Kitsilano Beach or amongst the living giants of Stanley Park.

Day 3 – Alpine to Ocean Heli Adventure
Spend a relaxing morning at your leisure. You may wish to stroll along the white sand of Chesterman Beach, watching surfers take on the swells of the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, drop into the Inn’s historic carving shed where you can watch talented carvers produce beautiful pieces of art. If you’re feeling active, you could take one of the Inn’s complimentary bicycles to visit the stylish shops and boutiques in Tofino.
In the afternoon take off on an exclusive heli-tour to some of Vancouver Island’s rarely visited beauty spots. Soar over Long Beach and enjoy sweeping views of the endless, golden coastline. Fly up into the surrounding mountains, where your helicopter will touchdown at Paradise Lake which is surrounded by steep alpine peaks. You can sit lakeside or brave the clear cold water for an afternoon dip!
Leave the snow-capped peaks behind, as you scout the coast for whales and wildlife along the way. Touch down on a remote offshore island, where you can take your shoes off and dip your toes in the Pacific Ocean or wander the beach and take in the salt air. Enjoy a gourmet picnic basket including charcuterie and wine from a local vineyard.

Day 4 – Private Nature Cruise with Gourmet Lunch
Join a local captain for a once-in-a-lifetime private boat adventure. Sail along the inside passage to Hot Springs Cove Provincial Park, where you can marvel at ancient old growth forests. Take your time and enjoy a relaxing soak in natural geothermal springs overlooking the breathtaking Pacific Ocean. Along you may like to fish, search for whales, or simply relax and enjoy your surroundings.Included is an onboard, chef prepared lunch.

Day 5 – Kayak, Hike, or Surf

Day 6 – Private Bear Watching Adventure
Tofino is famous for its bear watching, so board a rigid-hull zodiac boat and head out with your camera. With a specialist guide, see Clayoquot Sound’s black bears up close as they forage the beaches for rock crab, starfish and even a bit of kelp. Along the way, keep an eye out for an eagle aerie, harbour porpoises, seals, river otters, blue herons and other species of wildlife.

day 7 - private float plane to vancouver
Stroll along Chesterman Beach on your final morning in Tofino. Check out of your hotel, then meet your driver for a private transfer to the float plane dock.
Board your private flight and take advantage of another great opportunity to snap aerial photographs of Vancouver Island’s spectacular coastal scenery.

Day 8 – Depart from Vancouver
After breakfast in the Gold Floor lounge, we recommend you spend a leisurely morning strolling along the Vancouver harbourfront, just steps from your hotel. After check-out, you’ll be taken by private car to the Vancouver airport, in time for your flight home. We will arrange for you to be driven home in comfort.
